Short version: we collect what a booking inquiry needs and nothing else. There is no advertising, no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone outside the people who answer your inquiry.
Two places on this site accept information from you, and both of them are optional. You can also just call or email instead.
The form at the booking page asks for your name, your email address, your event date, your venue or city, and a message. That is the whole list. There is one hidden field on the form that real people never see or fill in; it exists to catch automated spam, and anything submitted through it is discarded without being read or delivered.
What you send is turned into an email and delivered to the band. It is not stored in a database, because there is no database. The record of your inquiry is the email in the band's mailbox.
The chat window is automated. It is a software assistant, not a member of the band typing, and it will tell you the same thing if you ask it. It answers from a fixed description of the band, the setlist and the service pages, all of which are already published on this site.
Your messages are sent to Anthropic, which runs the language model behind the assistant, so that a reply can be generated. If you ask the assistant to pass your details to the band, it sends the same fields the booking form sends, by the same email route, and it tells you it has done so. It cannot send anything without you asking.
If you would rather not use it, the form and the phone number reach the same people.

Each of these companies keeps data under its own terms and its own retention schedule, which are theirs to set and not ours to state on their behalf. If the specifics matter to you, ask us before you send anything and we will point you at the current terms.
Booking inquiries live in the band's email like any other email. We keep the ones that turn into bookings, because we need the event details. Inquiries that do not turn into anything get cleared out periodically.
Email booking@rickybobbymusic.com and ask, and we will delete your inquiry and confirm when it is done. You do not need to give a reason, and it will not affect a booking you already have. You can also ask what we hold and we will tell you.
This site is aimed at people booking entertainment for an event. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If what we do with your information changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. There is no version history to dig through; the page always describes what happens now.
