Karaoke
Your guest takes the mic. Ricky Bobby plays live. The full recording keeps the song whole while a real three-piece puts the singer out front.
Ricky Bobby brings live band karaoke to Austin private parties, corporate events, holiday parties, and weddings. A guest sings lead while our drums, bass, guitar, and vocals play live over the full recording. They get their moment at the mic. Your room gets a live band behind it.
The recording runs, then Rik on bass, Bob on guitar, and Sonny on drums play live over it. Your guest handles the lead vocal. The song keeps its full sound, but the room gets the kick of musicians playing right there.
Then add the race suits. Rik and Bob work the room in Talladega Nights homage gear and Southern accents, Sonny answers in a French one, and nobody is pretending to be the movie characters. It is a live band karaoke show with a sense of humor built in.
Live band karaoke is built for the person who has one song in them and needs a band behind it. We add live drums, bass, guitar, and vocals on top. That puts the singer in the lead without asking them to carry the whole song alone.
Ricky Bobby is a live three-piece party band based in Austin, with multiple vocalists and a published song list. That gives you a clear place to start picking the songs people will want to sing.
You can see all 70 songs on the setlist. Got a request outside it? Send it early enough and we can learn it.
That is the trade: fewer songs, but a live band behind every singer. For a party where anyone needs to call up any song at any time, book Ricky Bobby Karaoke. Rik and Bob can download and run any song on site. Pair it with the band and you can have both kinds of karaoke in one night.
Start with Ricky Bobby, the live band. Add live band karaoke when your guests are ready to step up. Add Ricky Bobby DJ for guest requests and music built on the fly, or Ricky Bobby Karaoke when the whole room wants an open song choice. Book the band, DJ, karaoke, or any combination through one team, one load-in, and one point of contact.
See the combinations on packages, or tell us what kind of party you are building and we will help shape the music around it.
Skip the agency. Send your date, venue, event type, and the songs your guests are already arguing over through the booking form. It goes straight to Rik and Bob.
