Corporate events
Give the agenda a finish worth staying for. Ricky Bobby Music brings Austin corporate event entertainment with live music, guest requests and race-suit nonsense.
Ricky Bobby Music is Austin corporate event entertainment you can book your way: the live band, the DJ, karaoke, or the whole loud little operation in one call.
The speeches are done. The awards have landed. Then Rik and Bob walk out in Talladega Nights homage race suits, Sonny gets behind the drums, and the room has something far more interesting to talk about than another branded cocktail napkin.
Rik and Bob joke in Southern accents. Sonny answers in a French one. We are ourselves, not the movie's characters. For a black-tie gala, tell us and we will dress for black tie instead.
Ricky Bobby Music gives you three offerings that can be booked alone or combined: Ricky Bobby, the live band; Ricky Bobby DJ; and Ricky Bobby Karaoke. Rik and Bob are in every offering. Add Sonny for the band.
Start with a live band for the dance floor. Book a corporate DJ to take guest requests and download a song at the event if it is not already there. Put office party karaoke on after dinner and let the office ringer prove it. One booking gives your company party a very different finish.
Tell Rik and Bob What You’re Planning
Ricky Bobby is an Austin cover band, party band and dance band with live drums, bass, guitar and vocals. The band plays six decades of hits, from Motown, soul and funk to classic rock, 80s new wave, 90s alternative and Texas blues-rock. All three members sing.
A full night is three sets of about forty-five minutes, played nearly back to back. Your program decides how much music you want. For a gala or fundraiser, we fit the band around your run of show, with acoustic music through dinner, a dance set or the full night. If there is an auction, your auctioneer runs it. We stay out of it.
Bring in the live band for the big finish, Ricky Bobby DJ for guest-driven music, and karaoke when the crowd needs a microphone of its own. The same PA, stage lighting and smoke follow each offering. Your guests get a real show, then they get a turn.
Want a guest to sing with the band? Live band karaoke puts a guest on lead vocals while Ricky Bobby plays. Want a song anybody can call up? Ricky Bobby Karaoke runs any song at any time. Build your mix on the packages page.
Send the date, the Austin venue, your rough run of show and the kind of finish you want. The booking form goes straight to Rik and Bob, not an agency. We will build the right mix of band, DJ and karaoke for your corporate event.

Rik and Bob both handle the microphone, so announcements never hold up the music.
Our PA runs all night, not only during our sets. As guests arrive and between sets, we play recorded music through it, a playlist from a laptop. If you want more, Ricky Bobby DJ is a separate offering of Ricky Bobby Music that you can book together with the band in one booking.
You can pick the music, or tell us the mood and we’ll pick it. If you’ve hired your own DJ or host, they can use our system.
Yes. We fit the music around your run of show. Your auctioneer runs the auction, and we stay out of it.
Yes. Ricky Bobby DJ and Ricky Bobby Karaoke each book on their own, or you can combine them with the band.
Yes. Send band requests ahead of time. The DJ and karaoke system can download requested songs at the event.
No. The suits are our usual show, but we can dress for black tie.
I am an automated assistant, not one of the band. Ask about the setlist, the show, or what we need from your venue. If you want a date looked at, I can pass your details to Rik, who handles booking, and I will tell you when I have.
