Pro Lighting, Fog and a 10,000-Watt PA at Every Show

Every Ricky Bobby Band, Ricky Bobby Karaoke and Ricky Bobby DJ show brings its own production: pro stage lights that move with the music, fog effects and a 10,000-watt PA. You do not need a separate sound and lighting company to make the room look and sound like a show.

Stage Lighting That Moves With the Music

Our pro stage lights move with the music. Beams sweep the room, colors change with each song, and the dance floor feels like a stage, not a corner of the ballroom. The lights come to every show: band, karaoke or DJ.

Fog Effects That Make the Beams Pop

Fog catches the light so guests can see every beam. It makes a party photo look like a concert photo. Lights plus fog? Shake and bake. Your venue decides if fog is allowed, so ask them first. Then read our guide to what venues allow.

A 10,000-Watt PA at Every Show

We bring our own 10,000-watt PA to every show. Call it a big hairy American winning machine. It has the power to fill a ballroom or a backyard, and we run it at the volume the room needs, from a dinner set people can talk over to a dance floor that shakes.

  • Your venue has a PA? We can plug into the house system instead of bringing ours.
  • Their system falls short? We add our own speakers so the whole room hears the show.
  • No PA at all? Ours covers it. A backyard or an empty event hall gets the same sound as a club.

One Microphone System for the Whole Event

The PA is for more than music. Our mics are open all night for announcements, toasts and speeches. Rik and Bob both handle the mic, so announcements do not stall the music.

Anyone running part of your program can use it too: an MC, an auctioneer, a host or a speaker. One system, one sound, no second company to deal with.

Set Up Early for Long Events

On a long event where we are the featured act at the end of the night, we can set up the PA well ahead. It covers everything before we play: the welcome, dinner, the program and the speeches, with recorded music in the gaps. When our set starts, nothing has to be moved or rewired. The night just gets louder.

The Race Suits Are Part of the Picture

Rik and Bob wear the race suits for every offering. They joke in Southern accents, because a party needs a little horsepower. The suits are a nod to Talladega Nights, not a character act.

One Show.

Book the band, karaoke or the DJ. The same lights, fog and PA come with the show.

Production questions

Do you bring your own PA?

Yes. We bring a 10,000-watt PA to every show unless your venue already has one. If the house system falls short, we add ours.

Can our MC or auctioneer use your microphones?

Yes. MCs, auctioneers, hosts and speakers can use our PA and mics to talk to the crowd.

Can you set up before the event starts?

Yes. When we play late in a long event, we can set up the PA well ahead. It covers announcements, speeches and recorded music before our set.

Is fog allowed at every venue?

No. The venue decides if fog is allowed. Ask them first, and we will plan around their rules.
